About The Teacher

I am a native of Uxbridge, and have been teaching here since 2004. This is 
my third year in 4th grade at Taft. Before coming to Taft, I taught 7th 
grade at Whitin Middle School.  Before that, I taught in New Britain, CT. 
I graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2002 with my BA in 
Elementary Education. I am recently married, and live in Putnam, CT with my
husband and my two cats, Nas and Dribbles. I am working on my MA Ed.

Class Mission

I have high expectations for my students, and make teamwork and community 
both inside and outside the classroom my goal. Students in my class learn 
how to be organized, respectful, and responsible 4th graders.  They work
together to learn and become successful individuals.
