FEBRUARY 1 - 5, 2010 is JUMP ROPE FOR HEART WEEK

Physical Education classes have fun jumping for the Heart Association. Thank you to all that participate. All envelopes are due by February 5th.

Total for 2009 was $9,080.00.

Thank you to all parents who help the children collect donations and also to all the parent volunteers who turn the ropes. They love to jump Double Dutch.

Please remember the "3" steps to Recognizing a Stroke.

1. * Ask the individual to SMILE.

2. *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

3. *Ask the person to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) i.e. It is sunny out today.

If he or she has trouble with any of these tasks, call 9-1-1 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.
