FILLER PAPER - If you prefer a spiral notebook for filler paper, please try to have one that is perforated for easy removal of papers. Loose leaf paper especially for the binder is best. |

NOTEBOOK DIVIDERS. Your English notebook needs 4 sections, labeled and easy to locate. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways: purchased notebook dividers, post-it tabs, or homemade tabs. The 4 sections should be labeled: Vocabulary |

PENS – Work to be collected should be written in BLUE or BLACK only. Other colors – such as red, green, purple, pink - will not be accepted. Some homework may be done in pencil as long as it is dark enough to read easily. |

HIGHLIGHTER – having a highlighter can be helpful to mark particularly important information in your notebook or on handout sheets. I have some in the classroom, but it is good academic practice to have a highlighter available. |
