ANYONE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THE DECA NASHVILLE CONFERENCE – Nov. 7-9 ?


Each year, National DECA runs Regional Leadership Conferences with terrific workshops to help
students prepared for Competition.

In YEARS PAST Tiger DECA members who completed Written Reports started in SEMESTER TWO of their
Junior Year and FINISHED by SEPTEMBER of SEMESTER ONE of Senior Year would be able to attend
these conferences.

We’ve been to Washington DC 3 times, and Pittsburgh, Burlington VT, and Boston conferences.

IF CURRENT JUNIORS are INTERESTED and Can meet the following CRITERIA I would consider taking a
Group to NASHVILLE in November.

1. We get Administration and School Committee Approval for the Trip
2. Students START DECA PROJECTS and REPORTS NOW and get most of the project DONE BEFORE
JUNE, 2008 and just POLISH it up in SEPTEMBER.
3. RAISE Funds for the Trip Expenses before the Deadlines.
4. Get Grades of “B” or Better in BOTH Marketing Class and Store
5. NO DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS from NOW ON in the SCHOOL. (If you have a “Record” we need to
clearly define what is expected of you.
6. THIS TRIP COULD BE OPEN TO FORMER DECA MEMBERS WHO SIGN UP FOR DECA AGAIN in SEPT. (They
must also Start and FINISH a REPORT).
