INFORMATION FOR NEW FAMILIES

BEFORE SCHOOL AND EXTENDED DAY PROGRAMS

Thank you for your interest in our school-based programs.  We hope you will find this information helpful.  We are committed to providing quality extended day programming. In order to register your child in one of our programs, please make an appointment with the site coordinator in the school your child will be attending.  Registration forms are available now.

The Before School Program at the Cunniff, Hosmer and Lowell Schools begins the first day of school in September 2011.  Your child may be brought to the Program starting at 7:15 AM.  There will be quiet activities, crafts and games as well as homework time as needed.  Children will be escorted to the appropriate lines for the start of the school day. A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is required for each child enrolled in the Program and should be sent along with your completed registration form.

The Hosmer Extended Day Program, the Lowell Extended After School Program and the Cunniff Extended Day Program provide a safe, nurturing environment for children from the close of school until 6:00PM daily.  The program begins the first day of school in September 2011 for students who are enrolled in a full-day school day.  We also provide coverage on early release and conference days (not including full day professional development days), February and April vacations and during the summer for an additional fee.  Students must enroll a minimum of 2 days/week.  A non-refundable registration fee of $100 is required for each child enrolled in the program and should be sent along with your completed registration form to the site coordinator in the school your child will be attending. New families will meet with the Director of Community Education or the Site Coordinator and an orientation for registered families will be held in September.
