Homework  for Room 209

 

    Each Monday, every student will come home with a colored folder that says Homework. Inside there will be a packet of activities relating to  their "Words for the Week".  Each night there is a different activity for the student to complete. That is to help your child organize himself and space out the work he does each night. On Friday the packet must be returned and the words for the week studied for a spelling test each Friday. 

    Also, each student is encouraged to read at least 20 minutes each night.There is also a reading log for each month so that students can keep track of how much they read. For Math, practicing math facts is also encouraged.
