Welcome to the Opportunity Room!
The Opportunity Room (OR) is a therapeutic space in The Hosmer Elementary School. Our goal is to provide educational, behavioral and therapeutic support for elementary school students. The OR assists students with social-emotional-behavioral challenges who are experiencing difficulty in school. Students who have access to the OR participate in general education classes, however therapeutic opportunities are provided for individual students, as needed in the OR. OR staff support students success in school by working extensively with parents, teachers, administrators and community-based service providers.
