UMass, Amherst, a letter of Specialization in Creative Writing and a Graduate

Madhuchanda Chakraborty (Madhu), IA, has a Master of Science degree from
Gauhati University in Gauhati, India. BA of Science, Major in Chemistry, minor
in Math; a Bachelor of Education and has attended Cambridge College.
Brian Connors, 1:1 Aide
Jessica Donato: is our Special Education Consultant and works in the Hosmer
Connections Program during the day. She has a BA in Psychology with a
concentration in Elementary Education from Villanova University and a Masters
in Severe Disabilities with a concentration in Severe Special Needs from

Rebecca Flynn, 1:1 Aide, is a graduate of Fitchburg State University with a
B.S. in Science, concentration in Human Services.
Kim Foley, Lead Instructor, has a BFA in Illustration from Massachusetts
College of Art and Design. Kim has lots of experience working in summer and
vacation camps with all ages.
Alison Fraser, Lead Instructor, has a BA from Hampshire College in Creative
Writing and Childhood Development. Her work experience includes work as a
teacher's aide at The Greenhouse School in Salem, Ma.
Shaun Harris, Lead Instructor, graduated from UMass Dartmouth, Summa Cum
Laude, with a BA in Fine Arts. He has experience as a residential case
worker, as a program director for Western Massachusetts Council Summer
Camps,and as a climbing and ropes course director.
Leah Kass, IA, attended UMass, Dartmouth and has a BA (Psychology) from Boston
George Merdkhanian, IA, is a graduate of UMass Lowell with a BA in Art History
and Comparative Arts. He is a Watertown High School grad and has experience
as a camp counselor at the Watertown Boys and Girls Club.
Phil Overshown, 1:1 Aide, graduated from Suffolk University with a BS in
Communications and has over 20 years experience working with children and
adults with special needs. Phil currently works as an assistant teacher in
the Early Steps Integrated Preschool here at the Hosmer. He has also worked
at the Franciscans Children's Hospital and Vinfen Corporation. Phil is
trained in CPI, First Aid and CPR.
Lynda Pagliarulo, IA, has a BA in Sociology from Northeastern University and
an Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from North Shore Community
College. Lynda is a therapist here at the Hosmer and coordinates the many
community service projects here at Extended Day.
Laura Silverman, Jr. Community Explorers Coordinator, BA in Interdisciplinary
Studies anda BS in Elementary Education from Massachusetts College of Liberal
Arts. Laura also works as an IA for WPS and has lots of camp experience.
