 What is my child learning in your class?
The students in my classes range from 5th grade to 8th grade. Each student 
is learning strategies to help them with spelling, phonics, fluency, 
vocabulary, and comprehension.

 What reading programs do you use?
I use Seeing Stars and Visualizing and Verbalizing by LindaMood Bell. SS is 
for phonics and spelling, and V&V is used for comprehension. The classes 
also use the materials from the regular education English Language Arts 
classes.

 How do you teach?
I use a wide variety of techniques, from using worksheets, writing notes, 
watching movies, reading books, and hands-on projects. I try and include 
techniques for all learning styles, from audio to visual to tactile 
techniques.
