I began my teaching career in 1993 after graduating from Framingham State
College with a major in mathematics and concentration in Secondary
Education. In my second year of teaching, I began a master’s degree program
in Mathematics Education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I graduated
from WPI in 1997.
I continued to teach at the High School level until 1999 when my husband Bob
and I had our first son, Alex. At that point, I chose to stay home for
several years. Within those years my daughter Morgan was born.
In 2004, I came back to education as an MCAS tutor and permanent substitute
at Uxbridge High School. Finally, in 2005 I certified at the Middle School
level and began teaching here at Whitin!
I look forward to a wonderful year!
