Mrs. Robbins has earned a B.A. in Economics from Regis College in Weston, MA
and M.A. in Business Administration from Framinghan State College,
Framingham, MA. She has taken mathematics courses at Worcester Polytechnic
Institute in Worcester, MA and several education courses at both Worcester
State and Framingham State colleges.
Our class uses the Carnegie Learning's Bridge to Algebra and Cognitive Tutor
software program. 60% of our time will spent in the classroom and 40% of
our time will be spent in the computer lab (accessing the Cognitive Tutor
software program developed by Carnegie Learning). The classroom and
computer lab we will use is located in room 217. In the computer lab
students are encouraged to work at their own pace on the word problems and
examples. Homework is assigned every night and expected to be completed
before the next day's class.
