We have a new schedule for seventh and eighth grade students this year!
Students will attend Computer class for 36 days and will receive a separate
computer grade. The fifth and sixth graders will continue to follow this
model as well.
All students will be utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and
Publisher to create various products. Students will have lessons on how to
use the Internet effectively. Students will be using Type to Learn 3 to
improve typing skills in order to be more efficient and accurate.
Technology standards focus on:
Basic operations and productivity tools
Ethics, society and safety
Research, problem-solving and communications
We also have a brand new textbook this year! Computer Concepts in Action by
Glencoe.
This will be an excellent
reference for students.
Donations of tissues and hand sanitizer are always welcome!
