How do I contact Ms. McElligott?

You may leave a message for me with the school secretary at 781 979-2280.
However, please keep in mind that I am teaching during the day, and a return
call may have to wait until after school hours. You may also contact me via
email using the link at the top right-hand corner of the website homepage.

How much time should my child spend on homework?

The district sets the standard for homework. Your second grader should be
spending approximately 20 minutes daily on homework. This does not include an
additional 15 minutes of daily reading. Reading is always a priority, so do
that first. Should your child become frustrated after spending 20 minutes on
his assignments, stop and send in a note.

Does the Family Math Activity Packet have to be returned?

No. The Family Math Activity Packet is designed for at home, family practice
and reinforcement of skills learned at school. However, the packets may be
required to be returned at the start of the new year.
