*We have started our class Library Book Log. Here's how it works: Every time a student returns a book to the public library, she will get a special stamp on her reading log. When the reading log is turned in, the student will post her initials on the Library Book Log. When the class records 200 initial posts, the participants will join me for a special luncheon. Start reading those library books so you don't miss out! *Beginning on Tuesday, October 6th, we will be having Homework Club from 2:25 until 3:00. Children are welcome to stay after school for some extra help, to complete their homework with friends, or for some academic fun and games. Children should be picked up promptly at 3:00. This is their message board and part of their writing assignment. Think of the Blog as their online, interactive journal. *Welcome Back! Grade 2-Mc is off to a great start. The children and I have been getting to know each other both as individuals and as a class. We have shared information about our likes, dislikes, places we've been, things we've done, and our hopes and dreams for the year to come. We are truly on our way to becoming a community of learners!
