Package Deals

As consumers we have to learn to discriminate between real bargain prices and phony bargain prices.  Sometimes it is just a matter of knowing which size package to select.  A king-size package is not always a king-size bargain.

Which of the following package deals are the better bargains.

  • bubblegum: 3 for 10 cents of a king-size bag of 5 for 25 cents
  • ice cream bars: 25 cents eachh or a king size bag of 3 for a dollar
  • marbles: small bag of 6 for 15 cents or a king-size bag of 12 for 25 cents

Be able to explain why the deal is the better one.
