We have two tasks for September:
Look at the mystery genre closely. Who doesn't love a good mystery? But how
do you write one? How do you know if a mystery is "good"or "works"?
Once we take apart this genre you will be armed and ready for CRime and
Punishment in December.
Next, we need to take on that personal(college) essay and resume and be done
with it so you can breathe.
So right now you need to be thinking: What do I want the college of my dreams
to know about me? How can I tell them? How will I do it?
WHAT IS THE STORY THAT ONLY I CAN WRITE?
