Course Expectations - Integrated Math

Course Description: Integrated Math I CP1 is the first of a two year course
where Algebra and Geometry are taught in each of the two years. This program
is designed to provide a strong foundation for future mathematics courses and
to help students develop the content and problem solving skills needed for
success in college, careers, and daily life. Integrated Math I helps students
develop their abilities in the areas of critical thinking, communicating
ideas clearly, exploring and solving mathematical problems, and by working
cooperatively with others. Integrated Math I is built on the idea that
students develop better conceptual understanding of mathematics and stronger
problem solving skills when they see the connection among different branches
of mathematics and when they are actively involved in the learning process.
