How can I help my child with reading?

Read with your child each night for about 15-20 minutes.  Read a variety of texts such as, non-fiction, 
fiction, books in a series, etc.  This will improve reading skills, fluency, and comprehension.

How can I help my child with math?

Go to pearsonsuccessnet.com.  Password -  biles2a      ID - biles2a      
This is our new math curriculum- EnVision.  Parents can see and print out classwork, that we have done 
in school that day.

How can I improve my child's writing skills?

Have your child keep a journal at home and write in it two to three times a week.  Some ideas
are to write stories, thank you notes, poems, fiction & non-fiction stories, paragraphs, etc.

How can I communicate with Mrs. Biles?

The agenda book is the best way to keep in touch with me, since the agenda book is carried to and 
from school each day!  You can always call the school as well, (410) 222-1670.
