Our ALS staff includes 4 instructional assistants: Cynthia Jones,
Mildred Jones, Nasrin Rahimpour, and Wanda Oliver. In addition, we
have two student assistants: Ann Dykes, Elizabeth Snyder, and Blossie Moore
We strongly believe in our school's mission statement: To build life
long learners who are challenged by a rigorous and relevant
instructional program and nutured in a safe environment where integrity,
responsibility, and citizenship are valued. Students in our ALS program
participate in selected aspects of the general education
curriculum. Functional academics (Math and Reading) are taught
in structured, small group settings. We also offer pre-vocational
instruction both at school and in community based work sites.
