Is it really possible the first quarter of school has passed us by? My
goodness we have been busy!
Thank you to all the parents that helped put together a festive and fun
Halloween Party. The kids had a
wonderful time building scarecrows, wrapping mummies, pinning eyes on ghosts,
and eating ice cream.

Thank you for coming to our Poet's Coffeehouse! The kids did an amazing job
presenting their poems. What creative writers they are! We would also like to
thank all parents that helped put the evening together. It was a memorable
night!

Parent/teacher conferences have been scheduled with homeroom teachers. If
you have any specific
questions or topics you'd like to discuss please email your student's
homeroom teacher prior to your
conference. Also, the conference schedule is very tight. Please arrive a
few minutes early so that we
can all stick to the schedule. Thanks for your cooperation.

Looking for something new to read?
Check out the link below. It is a list of children's books complied by a
former professor of Miss Williams' at West Chester University. There are
novels of all genres, short reads, plays, etc. At the top of the site you
will find codes that are used to identify different characteristics about the
book (ex. genre, awards winners, and races represented within the book).
Then, it gives a brief synopsis of the book. It may be of use to you!
