Math 5 is currently working in Unit 2.

We have just finished up Unit 2 and we came such a long way in that time! 
Everyone worked hard and we are anxious to see ther results of our unit 
assessments.

For the next week and a half we will be focused on adding, subtracting, 
multiplying, and dividing multi-digit numbers. Then, we will begin to learn 
the place value of decimals and order decimals.

We are now into Unit 3, which is a long and tough unit. I am hoping that 
everyone will be motivated to complete homework and support learning at home.

It is very important that the kids are practicing their basic math facts at 
home. They come up repeatedly in this unit and we continue to grow based on
