Math B has been working really hard through Unit 2. We are finishing up our assessment this week and we are ready to move on. For the next few weeks, we will be spending time reviewing important concepts such as fractions, decimals, and percents. These are things that we will see on MSA that many of us have skipped along the way. It is really important to review these topics because our other math continues to build on this learning, as seen in Unit 2. So, this will be a great time for us. We will continue to learn new things and solidify our understanding of previously learned topics! ______________________________________________________________________________ Math B Unit 2 Material Exponents and Scientific Notation •Powers •Exponents •Scientific Notation Formulas and Expressions •Applying Formulas •Evaluating Expressions •Order of Operations •Properties •Solving Equations with Whole Numbers Integers •Comparing, Ordering, and Describing Integers •Operations with Integers Equations and Inequalities with Integers •Solving Equations •Solving and Graphing Inequalities Vocabulary to Know •absolute values •linear function •non-linear function •scientific notation
