SOCIAL STUDIES/SENN'S CLASS BY THE WEEK. I GAVE STUDENTS THIS SCHEDULE FOR THE
NEXT 2 WEEKS. IF THEY ARE AWAY FROM CLASS THEY NEED TO READ THE LESSON FOR THE
DAY FROM THE BOOK AND TAKE NOTES.
Thur. May 8- 15-3 notes on Social Reforms. Finish as homework if needed.
Fri. May 9- 15-4 anti-slavery movement. Finish notes as homework.
Mon. May 12- 15-5 women's movement. Finish notes as homework.
Tues May 13- 20-1 the resources it took to make the U.S. #1. Finish as hw.
Wed. May 14- second vocab quiz on 15-3, 15-4, 15-5, 20-1
Thurs. May 15- open note essay test. Students had the two questions ahead of
time, we went over all the notes, and they could bring in an outline of their
essays.
Fri. May 16- Introduce new unit, the Civil War; begin studey of 10 events
that led to Civil War. Use Chapter 17 to find explanations.
Mon. May 19- Use Chapter 17 (all) to explain the 10 events that led to Civil
War.

Wed. May 21- quiz
Thurs. May 22- Western Campaign; use Ch 18-3 and pp. 593-594
Fri. May 23- Finish Western Campaign
