I have taught in Prince George's County Public Schools for 13 years. I am
currently a Reading, Language Arts, Science, Health and Social Studies Fourth
Grade classroom teacher. I feel that the use of technology must be an
integral part of our everyday teaching and learning. Students use multi-
media technology daily in the classroom as well as for home assignments.
Calverton Elementary School is an extension of the Community. It is
the center point from which parents, teachers, and community leaders
can guide and direct the goals of our students to achieve high
educational standards in order to become contributing members of the
21st Century.
The community of Calverton Elementary School believes that all
children can learn. My Mission is to provide opportunities for all
children to achieve the highest educational standards. This will
enable the children to become contributing members of the 21st
Century. Within a safe and caring environment all children will
expand their prior experiences and make connections to different ways
of reasoning, problem solving, and communicating. We will accomplish
this by promoting a positive, caring, learning environment.
