Do you assign homework every night?

Yes!! You can expect math and spelling homework Monday through Thursday 
night. The students are expected to read for fifteen minutes  and 
fill in their reading log.

What does my child need to do with the reading log?

A reading log will be passed out once a month.  The student needs to read 
for 15 minutes Monday through Thursday.  The student may read a book, 
magazine, baseball cards etc. on his/her own or with a sibling or with an 
adult.  The reading log needs to get signed each time a block is checked 
off.  The reading logs will be due each Monday morning.  I will stamp the 
reading log and return it to the student.  The log will be due at the end of 
the month.
