About The Teacher
I am a proud alumnus of Howard County. After going through Atholton Elementary, Clarksville Middle School, and Hammond High School, I studied English at Georgetown University. A great deal of time was spent playing for the Women's Basketball Team where I was able to travel to different parts of the country and the world to represent my school as a student-athlete. I love studying and teaching English, because I love words. Communication and looking at the way others communicate through writing and speaking are complicated activities. I find joy in seeing my students becoming better communicators. I also look forward to learning so many ideas from my students as we work collectively in the classroom.

Mission
The students in Seventh Grade English will participate in daily learning activities that stimulate their awareness of how the English language works. Through reading and studying literature, composing various products, and expressing ideas in a variety of forms, students will become more adept communicators.
