I am a graduate of Mercyhurst College of Erie, Pennsylvania. At Mercyhurst, I
have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology Education. During my years
at Mercyhurst I served as an elected official on student government,
participated in Division II waterpolo, and obtained a resident assistant
position.
My goal as an educator is to give students the knowledge and experience to
apply biology to their everyday lives. Students will learn how to work
amongst their peers and also learn how to work independently. Schools are to
provide an education that teaches students how to communicate effectively with
others through writing as well as speaking. Students will learn the basic
principles of life science in my classroom and be able to apply it to their
everyday lives. Students will learn how to predict and solve problems with
the information gained in class and labs. I look forward to helping and
watching students develop these skills.
