Hello everyone! My name is Ms. Lightner and this is my first year at
Ellicott Mills Middle School. I am very excited about being a part of the EMMS
community. I have previously taught middle school Language Arts in Dorchester
County and have just recently moved to Howard County. I am looking forward to
this school year and getting to know each of my students. I hope that by
working together we can have a very rewarding year!!
Our classroom is a place where learning will occur in a respectful and safe
environment. All students will be treated with respect and are expected to
