We are currently working on a full, five paragraph essay on The Time Machine, which will be graded on the 6+1 traits of writing. This essay should be a display of the students' best writing skills. The rough draft will be due in sections over the course of a week, followed by a second draft due after break and the final draft the end of the week after break.
To be successful this year it is important for each student to work to his or her potential, complete assignments fully and on time, and participate actively and appropriately in class. Please see the syllabus for the complete classroom guidelines and expectations. If at any time you, as a student or parent, have questions, concerns, or need any type of help on the work being done in English, please feel more than welcome to contact me. I am happy to help and here to do so in order to ensure a successful year for all.

 

Please make sure to bring all supplies and homework to class each day. This includes paper for daily assignments and activities in class, and multiple writing utensils.
