Mr. McCauley taught English for 25 years before taking over the position of
GT Resource Teacher at FQMS. For 24 of those years, he was at The German
School Washington, where every subject except English and American History
is taught in German, so his German is very fluent! He has a B.A. in German,
an M.A. in English, and he recently finished a second M.A. in Gifted and
Talented Education from the University of Connecticut. He recently received
certification as a Gifted and Talented Education Specialist in the state of
Maryland.
His hobbies are reading, writing, painting, playing chess, working out, and
playing with his eight-year old pup, Papaya.
