About The Teacher
Hello All- This fall, I'll be teaching 4 sections of 6th Grade Earth Science as well as 1 section of 7th Grade Life Science. Earth science finds the student learning about their daily world in depth-- from astronomy to the atmosphere, and from geology to energy and resource management. Life science teaches the student about cells and the human body--and how it functions in the world around them, the world that they learned about in 6th grade. About me? So glad you asked! I'm a Penn State graduate, but I grew up in eastern Pennsylvania, about 25 miles north of Philadelphia, in the riverside town of Yardley. I moved to Maryland two years ago to start my teaching career off with a bang, and I've loved every minute of it so far. I love baseball, graphic design, road maps, and just about any music. This year, I look forward to having the opportunity to participate in Outdoor Education again, which is held from October 28th-30th.
