| As part of classroom procedures, students will be completing a warm-up
activity to start most classes. The warm-up will reinforce past material as
well as introduce students to new topics. I also like to use the warm-up as
a way to gauge how the students are feeling about the class, the school,
their teachers, their surrondings, and many other subjects. Warm-up is a
good way to get the class off to a organized and calm beginning.
Warm-up will be collected and graded as a quiz or homework assignment on a
frequent basis. I do not look for every answer or comment to be 100%
correct, I simply want the students to answer the drill using a high level
of thinking.
4th Quarter
Drill: #1: Write down at least 5 things you have learned about Islam thus
far. (4-4)
Drill: #2: List at least 3 test strategies that you implement before and
during a test.
Drill #3: Write down at least three things you have learned about Africa’s
Geography and regions.
Drill: #4
**Write down 5 things you learned from the film on Friday.

*Write down at least 3 things you have learned about Ancient Greece thus far.

*Why did the Greek’s have the Olympics?

*Why did the Spartans form a Militaristic society?
*Why do you think that Athens, Sparta, and other city-states formed an
alliance after the Athenians defeated the Persians?
