Homework Policies-all classes-2009-2010

Homework (HW) is part of each student's course grade. HW assignments will
be posted on the chalkboard in class and on the class webpage.

Each HW assignment will have a number and a due date. If no specific due
date is mentioned, the assignment is due for the next class.

Students will be expected to file HW assignments by name and by number in
their Spanish classwork/homework folder. This folder shall remain in the
classroom. Your Spanish teacher may audit the HW folder at anytime by
inspecting the contents of the individual student classwork/homework
folder. Students should keep this material organized and up to date.
Homework is to be done at home, not in class.

Your Spanish teacher may conduct a HW audit at any time. Academic credit
will be given only during the classroom audit for HW that is complete, has
the student's name on it, is correctly numbered and submitted by the
due date. No copies of PHSchool pages will be accepted, only origionals.

Each student will possess 100 points for HW at the start of every grading
period. Your teacher will deduct 10 points for each missing or incomplete
HW assignment to compute the final HW score for that quarter. That final HW
score will be used in quarterly grade calculation.

Completion of homework/classwork means 90% complete. There is no credit
given for incomplete HW/classwork or materials not available in class on
the due date nor for work not available at the time of an audit.

Studyspanish.com tutorials receive credit only when completed and correctly
submitted online to your Spanish teacher by the deadline.

Students are expected to keep their individual Spanish class folder
organized, up to date, in class and to file their homework and classwork in
their own folder before the end of each class. Spanish class folders are to
remain in class. Credit will be given only for completed work available in
each student's class folder at the time of an audit.
