About The Teacher

I am the Science ITL and the It's Academic coach.

I am a husband and father of 4 wonderful kids.  I grew up in Rochester, NY 
then went to college at Grove City College, in Pennsylvania.  Grove City 
College is a GREAT COLLEGE. I graduated, got married, and took a job in 
Houston, TX.  I stayed there three years and then decided to move back to the 
north east.  I've been at Glenelg ever since!

I've been teaching Chemistry for 17 years and 14 of those years at Glenelg.  I
love this school and the students!  I've wanted to be a high school chemistry
teacher since I took high school chemistry.  

I look forward to a great year with your children!

Mission For The Class

Chemistry I
To learn about Chemistry and how is applies to the world around us.  By the 
end of this course you will be well prepared for Physics and any 
other science related classes you will need to take in the future.

Chemistry AP
To learn the material covered by a standard college freshman chemistry 
class.  This material is also what is tested by the AP Chemistry Exam, so we 
will also be prepared for that exam.  Taking the AP Chemistry Exam is 
strongly encouraged for students who are successful at learning the material.
