Welcome to Ms. Kuykendall's class!

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a
specialization in Microbiology and a Master of Education in Secondary
Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland, College Park.
I taught at Marriotts Ridge High School, River Hill High School, and Glenwood
Middle School located in Howard County. I was a teaching assistant for
microbiology and human development at the University of Maryland, College
Park. I worked for the United States Department of Agriculture in a molecular
plant pathology lab in Beltsville, Maryland over the course of five years. In
past summers, I have enjoyed volunteering at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.

I love gardening and spending time with family & friends. One of my
favorite vacations was a trip to Cancun, Mexico--I saw some Mayan ruins
and went snorkeling for the first time! Last summer, I went to The
Bahamas and went snorkeling :) I have also been to France, Switzerland,
Germany and Quebec.

I am very excited about the upcoming school year and I look forward to
getting to know all of my students!

"A world class education for every child."
