Homeroom Information

REMINDER:

Our Science Center Field trip is this Friday! Check the hallway near Mr. Mackin's room to see your group number and where you will report on Friday after our extended homeroom period.

JOE CORBI ORDERS can be picked up this week so that you can deliver them to your customers who purchased items from you. The items may be picked up on THURSDAY, December 3rd after school. I know I can not wait to receive the items that I purchased!

Monday, November 9th is the final day to turn in fundraising orders from Joe Corbi's. Each kit you sold will provide you with $4.00 towards your environmental education trip!

Have a productive week-end selling to help you reduce your cost for the field trip.

MONDAY FOLDERS

Please make sure that you check your child's Monday folders for pertinent communication from the school. Please sign the log sheet to show that you have received the information that was enclosed. Your child should then bring back the folder the next day so that it can be used again for additional communication pieces.

PTA COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER

Thursday, September 17th is the final day to turn in cookie dough sales orders and monies. Please help out the PTA with raising funds for our school, if you can. Thanks!

If your child is ABSENT. . .

Please send in a note with your child to me. . . the HOMEROOM teacher, the day that your child is returning from an absence. If it is excused with a valid reason, your child will be allowed to make up any missing work.

If your child is coming to school LATE. . .

Please make sure that your child has a note explaining the reason for lateness. The child will then be marked as tardy and be allowed to make up all work.

Although we want your child to come to school everyday, we certainly understand if they are sick and will work to help them make up any missed skills or assignments.

ALL ABOUT COMMUNICATION. . .

MONDAY FOLDERS

All students will receive a "MONDAY FOLDER" on the first day of the week during most all weeks of the school year. It will contain handouts, fliers, calendars, messages, etc. from the school. Please read and remove the fliers from the folders, sign that you have received them, and return the folder the next school day. This is our "hard copy" way that we communicate with you at home.

WEB-SITE

This website is available for information about the math classes and general school announcements. It will be updated with homework assignments, reminders, links for math activities, etc. Please check regularly and when needed.

TEACHEREASE

Students' grades will be uploaded to this website for you to view your child's current grade in mathematics. Please make sure that you register for this service by filling out the pink registration form sent home the 1st week of school.
