12 Standard: Students are wrapping up Othello and will begin Act V the first
week of December. Grammar: students have studied and learned how to correct
run-on sentences are currently studying multiple ways to combine sentences by
using appositives and semi-colons.
11 Honors: Students are on Book Two of Native Son. They seem to genuinely
enjoy reading and discussing the book. They have submitted a portion of their
thesis papers which we peer edited in class. Students are currently learning
how to correct unclear pronoun references.
