When am I notified about an IEP meeting?

We are required to provide you with a notice of the meeting ten calendar days
prior to the meeting.

If a meeting is held without a ten day notice, parents/guardians are asked to
sign a waiver.

Why does it take several weeks to schedule a meeting?

We have over one hundred twenty students that receive special education
services. We try to attend to all requests as expeditiously as possible and
appreciate your patience.

How long does an IEP meeting usually last?

Most meetings average about an hour in length.

What times are available to schedule meetings?

We can begin meetings as early as 7:30 am or as late as 1:15pm.

What happens if I can not attend the meeting on the specified time/date?

You can call us at 410-313-2867 or send us an email, and we will work with you
to reschedule the meeting. The rescheduling process often takes several
weeks. Again we appreciate your patience.

Suppose I can not attend the meeting in person, can we hold the meeting over the phone?

Yes, we are able to hold meetings via teleconference.

Can I request an IEP meeting?

Of course you may request an IEP meeting for you child.
Just call us, send us an email, or contact your child's case manager.
