Ms. Bates is happy to be starting her seventh year at Howard High School.
This year she will again share the role of Special Education Instructional Team
Leader with Mr. Michael Kellaher. She will also be co-teaching two Biology
classes with Mrs. Castellucci and Mrs. Thomas-Padilla.
The Green Schools Program will continue with Mrs. Rice and Ms. Bates
overseeing the events.
Ms. Bates completed undergraduate studies at what is now The College of New
Jersey, and earned a Master of Science Degree at John's Hopkins University,
Heightening environmental awareness is important to Ms. Bates. She also loves
animals. When not teaching Ms. Bates enjoys spending time with her son,
traveling and exploringthe outdoors.
To assist students in realizing their talents and capabilities as individuals,
while achieving academically and applying knowledge to real life situations.
