Below are a variety of community resources and their contact information 
that you may find beneficial. 

-VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES-

There are many opportunities for volunteering in the community whether at 
your church, neighborhood activities, or Parks and Recreation events, to 
name a few. Colleges love to see students involved in community service 
activities. They fulfill the Service Learning graduation requirement as well 
as the service requirement for the National Honor Society and several 
scholarships.

reports of suspected child abuse. Provides services and referrals for abused

Pathways offers innovative inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs 
for adolescents and adults with alcohol and/or drug addiction. Situated on a 
wooded eight-acre parcel of land in Annapolis, Maryland, the center's 
residential areas include 24 adolescent beds and a separate 16-bed wing for 
adults.

Grassroots is a multi-service crisis intervention center.  They provide 24-
hour crisis intervention services, shelter, transitional housing, and 
community education.

-SEXUAL ASSAULT COUNSELING SERVICES-

Provides advocacy/accompaniment to hospital, police and court proceedings. 
Provides individual counseling for children and adult sexual assault/abuse 
victims and support groups for adult rape and incest victims. Counseling 
hours 9:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday.
