Friday , October 9

Students took a test on Chapter 1 (Thu rsday for periods 4B, 5 and 8) and 
started a new unit on Reasoning. Stuents were given an assignment for 
section 2.1.

Monday, October 12th thru Thursday October 15th (no school on Friday, Oct 
16th, 2009)

Students will work on sections 2.2 thru 2.5 by the substitute on Monday or 
Tuesday, depending on your first day of class this week.

2.1 - Pg. 75-77: 3-18, 22, 26, 34 (show diagram when requested)

2.2 - Pg. 82-84: 3-5, 8, 9, 11-15, 17, 19, 21, 22 & 25

(skip 2.3)

2.4 - pg. 96-98: 1,2,3 & 4....pg. 99: 1,3,5,6, 10 - 13

2.5 - pg. 108: 3.4,5,7,8,11,14, 15, 18, 21-27, 30.

 Substitute will give worksheets 2.1 - 2.5 for more practice and 
reinforcement (see substitute in A213 for the workheets if you are absent 
from class. 

Additional problems (If you need more practice)

Chapter Review pgs. 136: 1-17 and Pg. 898: 1-30.

All work should be completed the week of Oct 12 - 18.


onday the 19th we will revew, answer questions to problems that you could 
not do and start section 2.6 on properties of real numbers and proofs (2 
column).

Students are working on proving triangles congruent by the five methods in 
sections 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5.

Textbook problems asigned were on pages 

243: 3 - 15.
244-5: 20- 22, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39.


Tuesday, December 8, 2009

Students will take a quiz on proving triangles congruent by SSS,SAS, ASA, 
AAS, or HL.

After the quiz we will work on Using Congruent Triangles to prove 
Corresponding Parts Of Congruent Triangle (or CPCTC) which can be found in 
section 4.6.

Homework pages 259-261: 1 - 23 (odd numbers).
