Hi.
My name is Mrs. Lawrence, and I've been a teacher at Howard High School for
20 years. I teach the tenth grade classes, standard, honors, and G/T.
This year, my goal is to teach a lot of grammar so that students' scores can
improve on the PSAT/SAT tests; I want to work a lot on writing, so that
students can begin to develop and to refine their individual writing styles;
and I hope to read as many novels as we can in order to engage students in
class discussions and higher order thinking. I appreciate it when students
maintain positive attitudes about learning in class; that way,I can do my
best to execute lessons that will help them with all the assessments tests
they have to take this year -- it's a bunch! Good luck!
