Do students receive credit for this course?

Yes, 1 elective credit for RAP 1 and 1 elective credit for RAP 2 is given to 
students who complete the course successfully.

How do students meet with success?

The Academy of Reading, a computerized reading proram, provides 
individualized instruction to students in phonemic awareness, decoding and 
reading comprehension.  In addition, students work in small groups with 
teacher-directed activities to address the essential curriculum.
