Spanish IV and Spanish IV Honors students :
Currently, the students are working in unit 4, learning and improving uses of
the subjunctive mood.
The class continues to share "Good News" - another way for the students to
practice their Spanish under more controlled circumstances.
The students appear to check Aspen on a regular basis which is a good idea.
Most students still need to work on using on Spanish in the classroom. There
is too much English being used and not enough Spanish. I will do my best to
encourage the students to stay in the target language.
Mid-term exams are just around the corner - the middle of January.
At the end of January, students will receive course selection materials. I
usually give each student a piece of paper encouraging them to continue with
Spanish and offer an appropriate level for them. This choice is based on
their performance in class, their willingness and ability to use Spanish, and
their schedule for next year.
