Grading Policy
60% - Tests, quizzes, *projects
35%- Class work & 
participation
5%- Homework
*- Every trimester the Spanish notebook (portfolio) will be collected and 
graded as a project (part of the 60%). It should be organized as follows:
Calentamientos– Warm-ups
Trabajo en clase-Class work
Tareas-Homework
Exámenes y pruebas cortas– Tests & Quizzes
Vocabulario– Vocabulary (minimum of a 100 words per trimester). The format 
should be Spanish-English.

Class Mission

The Indian Creek Spanish program has been developed to provide the students 
with an understanding of the Hispanic world. Students will be learning 
grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, as well as elements of the 
different cultures of Latin America and Spain. To learn more about diversity
