My Story

I was born in Long Island,New York.  I grew up in Lloyd Harbor, New York ( 
the North Shore of Long Island)  I played softball, field hockey 
and lacrosse, but spent most of my youth riding Hunt Seat Equestrian on the 
A circuit.  I went to Long Island University, C.W. Post College for my 
undergrad and Graduate degrees.  
I have a BA in English and Psychology and an MA in English.  I am currently 
working on my Ph.D. I decided to study English, because I was 
given a graduate assistantship and the job of Head graduate Assistant for 
the English Department at C.W. Post.  I also enjoy reading and writing. My 
children go to Chesapeake Montessori School, and most of the students there 
go to Indian Creek for Middle School, so will my children.  I have every 
intention to send my kids to Indian Creek School because of the quality of 
education.   
I have never worked at a more professional school with a more caring 
staff.  The people here genuinely care about each student as an individual, 
and Anne and Eileen truly care about us as a faculty!  I wake up every day 
excited to come to work and happy I made the decision to return to private 
school! 
 I live approximately 3.7 miles down the road from school.   
I have been married for 11 years and I have 2 children Morgan Elizabeth 8 
years old and Easton 2 years old. 
I love to read, sew, and ride horses.
