1/16 - WORK ON SPEECH - DECIDE ON TERM PAPER TOPIC
1/20 - Know your term paper topic. Spelling Bee tomorrow.
1/21 - Computer lab tomorrow to type speech and/or find more information.
Practice timing speeches Friday.
Speeches begin Monday and count as a test grade. Three VA's and
one should be created by you.
1/23 - LIBRARY CARDS ARE DUE MONDAY - A HOMEWORK PASS WILL NOT WORK! Some
A.A. Co libraries are closed on Sundays, so pick one up Friday or Saturday
if you don't already have one. This is important for term paper research.

1/29 - Everyone should be prepared to present speeches as soon as we return
to school.
1/30 - ALL SPEECHES ARE DUE. BE READY.
2/2 - FINISHING SPEECHES -- LIBRARY CARDS ARE PAST DUE

2/9 - 2/13 BRING IN EXPANDABLE FILE FOLDER, NOTE CARDS, PAPER AND
PENCILS/PENS FOR THE TERM PAPER UNIT.
2/13 - ALL TERM PAPER SUPPLIES PLUS ANY PRINTED INTERNET SOURCES MUST BE IN
SCHOOL BY FEBRUARY 19TH. WE WILL START IN THE LIBRARY THAT DAY.
2/19 - WE WILL BE WORKING IN THE LIBRARY FROM NOW UNTIL MARCH 6TH. AT THAT
TIME WE WILL RETURN TO THE CLASS ROOM, AND ROUGH DRAFTS WILL BE WRITTEN FROM
NOTE CARDS. SEE ORANGE TERM PAPER CALENDAR FOR ALL DUE DATES.
2/25 - We are still working in the library. Fix your outline by Friday if
there was a problem.
2/26 - We will continue working in the library tomorrow and all of next
week. if the questions on your outline need fixing, do so and show me
tomorrow.
3/3 - If you have less than 30 note cards, you may take a source home to take
notes. Return with the source in the morning. Note cards and final outline
will be due soon.
3/5 - BECAUSE OF MISSED LIBRARY TIME DUE TO A SNOW DAY AND DELAYED OPENING,
WE WILL TAKE NOTES IN THE CLASS ROOM ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. THE
FINAL, FORMAL OUTLINE IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS MONDAY (3/9). ALL
NOTE CARDS, BIB. CARDS, AND QUOTE CARDS WILL BE DUE AT THE END OF CLASS ON
TUESDAY, MARCH 11TH.
