Course Description:  The Indian Creek Spanish program has been developed to provide the students with an understanding of the Hispanic World. Students will learn grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills, as well as elements of the different cultures of Latin America and Spain.  

 

Materials:       The students should bring the following materials to class on a daily basis:

·         Textbook

·         Spanish Binder

·         Pen/Pencil

Absence Policy: It is the responsibility of the student to check with the teacher regarding assignments when absent. Students are allowed one day for each consecutive day absent to turn in missed assignments for full credit. After the allotted time, the assignment will be marked off 10% each day that it is late.

 

Homework Policy:         Student are to record all homework assignment in their planners.  Homework assignments are to be completed by the beginning of the period on the indicated due date.  

 

All homework assignments will receive a completion grade. The correct answers to these assignments will be discussed together in class.

 

Late homework, projects and class work assignments can be made up during working lunch and will be accepted up to one day after the due date with a 10% point deduction. Assignments more than one day late will receive a maximum of 50%.
