My Story

My name is Emily Swartz and I am the Middle School computer teacher at ICS. 
This is my second year at the Creek. I am teaching the entire Middle School 
and am very excited to be back again for another school year!! I am also the 
Upper School field hockey coach. Field Hockey is my true passion and I am so 
excited to be able to be here to teach as well as start my own field hockey 
program.

I went to Indian Creek Middle School and graduated in 1998.  I went on to 
Severna Park High School and then on Towson University where I played field 
hockey and graduated with a degree in Biology and Secondary Education. I am 
currently taking classes at night again at Towson to complete my Master's 
degree is Cellular and Molecular Biology. Computers are my favorite hobby.

This summer I recently became an Aunt as my older brother, Brian and his wife,
Kristen, who BOTH graduated from ICS Middle School had their first son Brady
Christopher Swartz on June 28th. In the picture above you can see my nephew
Brady two days after he was born!
