EVERYONE must read a minimum of 15 minutes a day - either out loud to someone or by themselves.
This is to be notated on the book log, which can be downloaded from this site.
EVERYONE should work on memorizing their math facts. We learn the concepts in class as a basis for
understanding, but parents should work on drill at home with the facts, just as we all learned the
alphabet!
EVERY second and third grader should write a book report for the month of September. It is due this
week.
First grade will have a spelling test on Friday, October 9. They will bring their spelling words home on
Monday.
